SUMMARY: In the article on Drugs for Parasitic Infections and in The Medical Letter Handbook of Antimicrobial Therapy, 16th edition on page 130, the pediatric dosage of doxycyline (combined with quinine sulfate) for treatment of chloroquine-resistant P. falciparum malaria should be 2 mg/kg/d x 7d.
