July was a sad month at The Medical Letter.
Hans Meinertz, M.D. of University Hospital in Copenhagen died on July 21, 2015. Hans joined the Advisory Board of The Medical Letter in 1994. He became a Contributing Editor in 2009.
Jules Hirsch, M.D. of Rockefeller University died on July 23, 2015. His name has been on the masthead of The Medical Letter, first as a member of the Editorial Board and then as a Contributing Editor, since 1965.
We will miss their wise counsel and their friendship.
