Soft contact lenses have been in use for more than 20 years. Since the last Medical Letter review (vol. 24, page 109, 1982), new products have been developed, and some problems have emerged.
The Medical Letter is a subscriber-funded nonprofit organization that publishes critical appraisals of new prescription drugs and comparative reviews of drugs for common diseases.
