Bremelanotide (Vyleesi) for Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder

The FDA has approved bremelanotide (Vyleesi – Amag), a melanocortin receptor agonist, for subcutaneous treatment of premenopausal women with acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD). Bremelanotide is not approved for use in men or postmenopausal women.
