The combination of pemetrexed (Alimta - Lilly) and cisplatin is the first chemotherapy regimen approved by the FDA for treatment of malignant pleural mesothelioma. The injectable direct thrombin inhibitor desirudin (Iprivask – Canyon), a recombinant analog of hirudin,
