The FDA has approved Tarpeyo (Calliditas), a delayed-release capsule formulation of the corticosteroid budesonide, to reduce proteinuria in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN; also called Berger's disease) who are at risk of rapid disease progression.
