The FDA has expanded its Emergency Use Authorization for the adjuvanted protein subunit COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by Novavax to include its use as a first booster dose in adults who completed a primary series with any COVID-19 vaccine ≥6 months previously and are unable or unwilling to receive a booster dose of a bivalent mRNA vaccine. The Novavax vaccine is not authorized for use in persons who have received a booster dose of any other COVID-19 vaccine.

Two recombinant vaccines, Arexvy (GSK) and Abrysvo (Pfizer), have been approved by the FDA for prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults ≥60 years old. They are the first RSV vaccines to be approved in the US. Abrysvo is also approved for use in pregnant women at 32-36 weeks' gestation to prevent LRTD caused by RSV in their infants from birth through 6 months of age.

Dostarlimab was recently granted regular approval for treatment of adults with dMMR recurrent or advanced endometrial cancer that progressed on or following a prior platinum-containing regimen in any setting and who are not candidates for curative surgery or radiation.
